Building Bridges today that lead to tomorrow’s Future

Our mission is based on the understanding that our future lies in the hands of our youth and the communities in which they grow. Knowing this we make every effort to provide sound positive leadership, establish collaborative partnerships and communal growth in five distinct yet inter-related areas.

Building Stronger Futures, Together

Bridge Builder Friendship Foundation is proud to announce a new alliance with Tuscaloosa Reads. Together, Executive Director Paula Caddell and Dr. Whitney Javine, Community Literacy Engagement Specialist, are working to strengthen literacy, leadership, and life skills for students across Tuscaloosa.

This partnership combines the heart of community building with the power of reading, helping young people grow into confident learners and leaders.

Empowering Youth, Strengthening Communities

“Because of the Bridge Builder Friendship Foundation, I’ve had opportunities I never thought possible—mentors who believe in me, resources to succeed, and a community that supports my dreams.”

The Bridge Builder Friendship Foundation

The Bridge Builder Friendship Foundation Inc. is a non-profit organization which was founded with the vision of “Building Bridges today that leads to tomorrows Future.” Our mission is based on the understanding that our future lies in the hands of our youth and the communities in which they grow. Knowing this we make every effort to provide sound positive leadership, establish collaborative partnerships and communal growth in five distinct yet inter-related areas. We seek to:

  • Establish and maintain supplemental educational opportunities
  • Financial support for participants in the performing arts
  • Establish and implement scholarship programs that promote academic excellence
  • Collaborative partnerships with like minded organizations to sustain literacy, job training and recreational initiatives
  • Design and implement programs to increase awareness of prevalent health issues in Tuscaloosa, Bibb, Greene, Hale, Perry, Pickens and Sumter counties (West Alabama).

The long-term possibilities for Bridge Builder Friendship Foundation, a value based communal organization pivots on their ability to become agile and responsive to unpredictable changes in the evolving landscape of education, technology and communal demographics. To this end, the Foundation will deliberately examine internal controls and standard operational procedures as a conduit for knowing themselves and being true to their realities. This intentionality will allow the Foundation to present its self in, and respond to the marketplace more effectively. This strategic plan will introduce, consider and expand the perception and capacity of the Bridge Builder Friendship Foundation as a relevant value based organization that serves the West Alabama region.
