About Bridge Builder Friendship Foundation
Our Mission and Vision
Since 2012, the Bridge Builder Friendship Foundation has worked to “build bridges today that lead to tomorrow’s future.” We believe that strong communities are built by investing in young people, creating opportunities for growth, and supporting families across West Alabama.
Our mission is rooted in the idea that every child deserves access to education, mentorship, health, and the tools to succeed. By fostering partnerships and responding to the changing needs of our communities, we strive to be a value-based organization that uplifts, empowers, and connects people.
We seek to:
- Design and implement programs to increase awareness of health issues in Tuscaloosa, Bibb, Greene, Hale, Perry, Pickens, and Sumter counties
- Establish and maintain supplemental educational opportunities
- Provide financial support for participants in the performing arts
- Establish and implement scholarship programs that promote academic excellence
- Build collaborative partnerships to sustain literacy, job training, and recreational initiatives
