Young Entrepreneurial Students (Y.E.S.)

The Young Entrepreneurial Students (Y.E.S.) Forum is a dynamic program designed for high school students interested in learning about personal finance, investing, and entrepreneurship. By bringing together financial experts, local business owners, and aspiring student entrepreneurs, Y.E.S. empowers participants with the knowledge and skills they need to make informed financial decisions and explore the world of business.

What We Offer

  • Interactive Seminars & Workshops:
Students engage in hands-on sessions covering key topics like stock market fundamentals, investment strategies, budgeting, and the principles of running a small business. These interactive experiences encourage curiosity and active participation.
  • Mentorship & Networking:
A central feature of Y.E.S. is the mentor/mentee relationship. Visiting financial brokers, bankers, and local entrepreneurs guide students through real-world insights, offering support and professional connections. This personal mentorship helps students develop confidence and clarity about their future career paths.
  • Personal Finance Foundations:
From saving and budgeting to understanding credit and loans, participants gain the essential tools to manage their finances responsibly. This foundational knowledge sets them up for a lifetime of financial well-being.
  • Entrepreneurial Mindset:
Students explore what it takes to build and grow a business—from idea generation and market research to marketing and leadership. These lessons foster creativity, problem-solving, and a proactive approach to achieving goals.
